CIVIC proposes to coordinate around something different:

A shared commitment to protecting civilians affected by armed conflict.

This proposal tests the following assumption:

A humanitarian identity can become a stronger coordination mechanism than financial speculation.

The CIVIC ecosystem will recognize meaningful contributions to strengthening civilian protection through a system of non-transferable, on-chain community identities.

These identities are designed to celebrate the many ways individuals can mobilize resources, build partnerships, amplify CIVIC's mission, and strengthen the community that makes civilian protection possible.
