Throughout its history, CIVIC has worked with—not for—communities affected by armed conflict. From community-led protection initiatives to partnerships with local civil society and dialogue with security actors, CIVIC's approach has always recognized that protecting civilians is a shared responsibility.
This proposal asks whether the same philosophy should guide CIVIC's emerging Web3 ecosystem.
Rather than viewing supporters primarily as donors, should the community be built around people who actively contribute to CIVIC's mission through knowledge, participation, advocacy, governance, innovation, partnerships, and financial support alike?
