What if technology could change the way we think about philanthropy?

I’ve been thinking about how blockchain and digital technologies could create new ways for people to engage with organisations they care about. For me, this is less about crypto or technology itself, and more about the relationship between supporters and organisations.

Can philanthropy become more participatory, where people contribute not only money, but also ideas, expertise and networks?

And where can technology genuinely add value, rather than simply add complexity?
